Episode 8: Seeing the Savior in Baptisms for the Dead

One of the sacred ordinances in this dispensation is baptisms for the dead. In this episode Stine Jergensen and Ady Witzel will talk about how we can find the Savior and his power in this ordinance. 

Episode 7: Focusing on Jesus Christ in Temple Worship

In this episode Connor Snow and Hope Jackson take time to talk about how to focus on Jesus Christ while in the temple. One of the purpose of the temple is to connect  to our Heavenly Father and our Savior Jesus Christ. Our temple worship will always improve when we can focus even more on the Savior Jesus Christ.   

Episode 6: The Restoration of Priesthood Keys

Bailey Hansen and Mason Draper have a discussion about the restoration of priesthood keys and what these keys can teach about the temple. Priesthood keys provide the foundation for all of the ordinances in the temple, and knowing about them can magnify our temple worship. 

Episode 5: The Kirtland Temple

In this episode Mary Ward interviews Brother Marshall McDonald on the history and meaning of the Kirtland Temple. The Kirtland Temple was the first temple built in this dispensation, and was recently purchased by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from the Community of Christ. There are some fun insights that will come from focusing on this historic building.

As part of getting our series started we are going to again revisit a helpful podcast from another series. This one is on ordinances and covenants. Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will often talk about ordinances and covenants. These terms are central to understanding LDS teaching, but these terms can be confusing. In this episode Brother Sorenson and Brother Coombs try to break these terms down.

In this talk President Nelson talks about the importance of temples and priesthood keys. Other episodes in the podcast will go into great detail about each aspect of the talk.
